Beach drink
Vrijdag 3 juli wordt aan het strand van Scheveningen de laatste FRESH borrel van het jaar gehouden. De Beach drink vindt plaats bij beachclub Peukie vanaf 17:00 uur, introducés zijn ook welkom. Dus voor iedereen is de uitgelezen kans om de zomer goed in te luiden, onder het genot van een drankje en een hapje met de voetjes in het zand. Aanmelden niet verplicht, dus kom gewoon naar beachclub Peukie!

Excursie
Voorafgaand aan de Beach drink vindt er om 16:00 uur een excursie plaats, met als onderwerp de herstructurering van het kustgebied van Scheveningen. De gemeente Den Haag kent dan ook een grote ambitie om van de huidige kustplaats een bruisende tweede centrum van Den Haag aan zee te maken, dat vier seizoenen per jaar aantrekkelijk is voor Hagenaars en toeristen.
In een presentatie in het informatiecentrum Ontwikkelingen Scheveningen-kust zal nader worden besproken wat er nog staat te gebeuren en wat reeds gebeurd is in Scheveningen. Zo blijkt dat zo’n ingrijpende transformatie niet zonder slag of stoot gerealiseerd kan worden. Dit is dan ook een mooi discussiepunt dat tijdens de excursie nog ter sprake zal komen.
