Consultancy Week 2008

The yearly FRESH Consultancy Week took place from the 25th until the 29th of February. The main subject of this week was to tackle a multidisciplinary case about the problems in the ‘Stationswijk’ in The Hague. Twenty-four enthusiastic students from all over the Netherlands worked on this case for one week in three groups of eight students. The students received support by lectures and consults from several companies, the city-government and Fakton, who was partner of the FRESH Consultancy Week. 
 




Besides the more formal part of the week, there was also enough space for a sociably and informal program. During lunches, drinks and diners, students had the possibility to get acquainted with the several sponsors of the week in an informal setting. Afterwards of course, there was plenty of time to discover the nightlife of The Hague.

 






The results of the Consultancy Week were presented on Friday afternoon on the 40th floor of the multifunctional high-rise apartment building ‘het Strijkijzer’. Although the chairman of the jury had some critical comments on the ‘goodness’ of the plans, we received a lot of positive reactions on the final results from sponsors and even interested local residents. In the end, group 3 (B.O.O.M.) proved to be the winning group.
