Company Profile

Redevco, established in 1999, is a young and dynamic real estate company with a rich history. Redevco was created when the European real estate company, which for 150 years had been part of the C&A retail group, became an independent entity. Redevco is fully owned by Cofra Holding AG, a Swiss-based holding company. Cofra’s activities include retail, real estate, financial services and corporate investment.

In a period of just six years Redevco has become one of Europe’s leading real estate companies. Its initial targets have largely been achieved. The organization is strong and well-established in many national markets; the portfolios have been restructured and expanded; the geographical sector spread has been improved; and the tenant mix is now more balanced. Redevco is active in 16 European countries and is developing and managing a portfolio consisting of retail properties in top locations throughout Europe’s major cities. The portfolio, which also includes office buildings and logistic centres, currently comprises over 1,050 buildings, with an estimated value of c. 6.5 billion euros. We are aiming to expand further, especially in eastern and southern Europe, and to optimize our portfolios in those countries where we have been established for a longer period. Redevco is also actively seeking to acquire existing portfolios and regards project development, of e.g. shopping centres, as an important tool for further expansion, and aims to achieve a portfolio size of 10 billion euros in Europe in the future.

Our company’s mission is to professionally manage and develop a European real estate portfolio in order to optimize results in terms of cash flow and value creation. We take market conditions and benchmarks into account and use our existing European real estate portfolio as the basis for further development.
